A driverless car is a car that drives itself, but how does it see what is going on, on the road? Well, there is a program, that takes in what is around it, in the program. People who designed the program, put in all different things in the world, like a bicyclist, or a person crossing to road. The different cars on the road are boxes, as you see in the video. The car has a sensor on the top of its roof, and that is how it can see everything.
1. What if the car got into a crash, and the sensor is smashed or got knocked off? How much would it cost to get it replaced?
2. How much gas mileage does it get?
I think the cost for repairing the senors would be very costly, as much work was put in to making and programming these sensors.

I think it would probably cost more than the normal car that gets into a crash. But, it would avoid the because it doesn't have any destractions
